A New Way to See Your Relationship with Food and Your Body.

Are you looking for a place to explore your experiences with food? Are you interested in finding new ways to relate to your body? Are you passionate about social justice and your own healing path?

These are some of the curiosities that bring folks to our website and to this work. It’s a brave path—and it won’t be easy, but I can promise it’s worth it.

Andrea O’Donnell is trained as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and has been practicing for 15 years. She creates an affirming and compassionate space to explore some of the most tender parts of ourselves. She is trained as an Intuitive Eating Counselor and Be Body Positive Facilitator. She has extensive training in Internal Family Systems and Mindfulness Based practices. Just as important though-she brings her own life experience, living as a disabled person in a world that was not built for disabled folks.

All people are welcome here. Together we can create a space for exploration and healing. We want to specifically state a welcome to all folks living in marginalized bodies. We work from an anti-oppression lens and feel strongly that we must openly acknowledge the privilege in our bodies and the power we hold as providers in order to do our best to create that healing environment.

We are not the experts of your body. You are.

Sometimes it takes someone to be there with you asking the right questions in the right way to help you remember that you are that person- the expert of your own experience. Inside all of us lies the capacity for healing. None of us was born hating our bodies. We learned that along the way, and we can do the hard work of healing those parts of ourselves that were told our bodies are unworthy.

We believe that the relationship between client and provider is everything.

You have to feel that feeling like “she gets me” in order for this to work. If you are not sure what working with us would be like, you are not alone. It is the most pressing question on most new clients’ minds. That’s why we offer a free, 15-minute exploration call. So, you can ask all your questions and feel out whether or not we’re a good fit. Reach out here if you are curious. You’ve got nothing to lose.
